About the Project
Pecan Energy Storage is ideally located in Mitchell County, Georgia on an approximately 30-acre parcel, where it interconnects to Georgia Power’s transmission system via an existing transmission line. This facility will provide much-needed energy storage capacity and services to the Georgia electric grid in the Mitchell County and South Georgia area, enhancing grid reliability.
